North Conway

Its amazing how surprisingly close we are to Mountain beauty. The snow still caps the top of Mount Washington in late March.

Food classics

Most people who have hailed from this city have come to this small shop on Elliot Street. Johnny Carson's sidekick, a fellow from Lowell named Ed McMahon, made this place famous for his chatter about how great these hot dogs are. Its good memories walking in the place and grabbing my dog with only ketchup on it. It is a lot cleaner inside than what I remember.

Nashua River bike trail

Just down the road on Rt. 40, cross over 119 and right there is a parking lot to begin the Nashua River Bike trail. This time of the year (March) is the best time to ride alongside the river because the trees do not block the view of the water as you ride right alongside of it.

About seven miles into the ride, you run into Pepperell center. Here, there are old mill buildings that were powered by the strong current of the Nashua River

On this little island on the Nashua is an occupied residence. How curious!!
